  1. Hello,
I have upgraded to Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I normally rip my CD's with Exact Audio Copy and compress them with LAME in EAC.
Now my question: Exact Audio Copy is a 32-bit-software, should I now use the 32-bit or 64-bit version of LAME?
I think both versions are working but what is the "right" one? 32-bit is faster, strange ... (33x vs. 39x)?

    Thanks

Not strange at all. It's quite common. The only applications that really benefit from 64 bits are those that require more than 2 GB of memory.
