I have a number of .avi videos downloaded from the internet, and they are out of sync. I used virtualdubmod, and loaded each video, one by one. I then clicked on "Video>Direct Stream Copy". THEN i clicked on "Video" again, and then clicked on "Frame Rate". I then ticked "Change so video and audio durations match." I then saved the video to another folder, and most of the time, it worked great! The videos were all in sync with their respective audio portions. NOW....How would i load a bunch of videos in, maybe about 30 or 40, and have virtualdubmod do what i did, in a huge batch job, in order to fix the sync issues? Anyone have any suggestions?

I appreciate in advance any help you can give me.

  2. To do batch processing you have to set the filters, compression etc then go save as and tick don't run this job now add it to batch processing then you want to keep doing the same for each video, add it to the batch list and when youré ready go file job control or press (F4) the start the batch.

You wanna go into a little bit more detail? I loaded a video, set the frame rate to keep the audio and video durations the same, and also used direct stream copy. How do i do that for a bunch of videos? Do i have to have them in the same folder? Does it automatically process each one? Or do i need to tell it which video i need done?

Please advise on what to do. thanks!

  4. ok, you don't need them in the same folder or anything like that just do what I said open each video set your compression and filters then go file>save as (like you normally do when saving) but instead tick the box don't run this job now add it to the batch to run later then once it's in the joblist close the current video open a new one and set compression etc... add it to the batch the same way and when your're ready to run the batch go file>jobcontrol (F4 keyboard shortcut) and press start and you're batch will be running.
