Hey, it's been a year or two since i last looked into recording gameplay from my 360 and at the time i had my eye set on the hauppage pvr but i have since changed my setup so i need some advice. My current Setup is as follows
(Video) Xbox > VGA > Monitor
(Audio) Xbox > audio jacks > piggy back type connectors > steel series live mix > headset
My monitor has only D-Sub(VGA), DVI, and HDMI. DVI slot is taken by pc. I am looking for the cheapest way to record gameplay onto my pc from my xbox. I wish to play in max res on my monitor at the same time with no induced lag. There are a number of options i have considered all of which i can live with, could somebody please help me to find a solution for each scenario and a rough price, GBP pleaseI would prefer the cheapest possible solution as i am on a pretty tight budget atm. Any advice you can give me will be greatly appreciated.
1. Play in HD, record in HD at same time
2. Record in HD, not play at same time
3. Play in HD, record in SD
4. REcord in SD, not play at same time
