  1. I have had svcd2dvd for years and used it to convery mostly avi's to dvd with no issues. The average time for a conversion would be roughly a couple of hours give or take. I use windows XP btw.
    Recently the conversion time has risenm to upwards of 8 hours for the same size of avi for no obvious reason??? I downloaded and installed the 2009 version and it is no better re speed of converting? Can anyone suggest what might be causing this?
    Also how do I direct the converted files to be burned by nero in the settings please??

    ram has a nasty habit of failing
    try various testing aps
    also, try adaware and clean the machine up
