Hi,
This morning, my 200mm computer fan was clacking real loud, so I pulled the power supply cable (power off), before log in screen. When I power back up, xp keeps rebooting (loop),. When I select safe mode, a list of drivers is shown. I finally got into safe mode, but have no idea how to diagnose. I tried restore, does not work, I tried windows repair from cd, continues to reboot back to windows setup !! I tried chkdsk, no errors.
Has anyone had this issue before, know how to resolve ? I'm backing up data at the moment, in case I need to reinstall windows.
But, resolving the issue, would be awesome !
Thanks for any assistance.

Never mind. While in safe mode, I power the computer down, now working again. Go figure !
