No, you can convert 14 fps to any framerate, but since the existing frames get duplicated the playback of the final MPEG might be jerky. OK, you have downloaded it alreaddy, so try to convert it. Just load it as video source and select a VCD template (I assume you use TMPG). You may be satisfied or not. IMHO the best solution is to throw that crap away

  3. Whatever framerate you choose should get jerky with some flaws!

Advise: 1- LOAD .AVI with VIRTUALDUB!
2- Save Audio Track to wav
3- Go to VIDEO and then FRAMERATE
4- Choose "change to..." and then...you have to choose 25 or 30 fps
5- Add AGAIN .wav as Audio track (if you canīt try Adobe Premiere)
6- Save as a new .AVI file (new compression, etc, ...) or FRAMESERVE to TMPGEnc / Cinemacraft / ...

PS: I donīt garantee that Video / Audio are sync or no problems at all!

PSS: I donīt remember if, when U change framerate in VDub, video maintain speed but with framerate increased or if video becomes faster (If that happens try to use Adobe Premiere)

  4. You could try a temporal smoother ( over time ) to get rid of the jerkyness. I have not tried it, but it's used to smooth out jerkyness of frames over time.

  5. Hi buddy

just import your Clip into premiere and press CTRL+M and choose setting you want if you like to conver it to VCD/MPG you'll need Additional Plug-in like Video Server/TMPGEnc or PANASONIC MPEG Encoder

    That's all

PS: If you like to remove Jerky frame you have to Interlace frames by doing this in PREMIERe

    1. select your clip in timeline
    2. open CLIP Menu and in VIDEO OPTION click on Frame Hold...
    3. Check the FRAME BENDING Option and click OK
    4. Open CLIP Menu again and in VIDEO OPTION click on Field Options...
    5. set the PROCESSING OPTION to Interlace Consecutive Frames and Click OK
    6. render or export it

    That's all
