  1. All of my video editing is currently done on WinXP machines with either dual or quad core AMD cpus. For actual editing of video files I use Cyberlink PowerDirector 9(I think). I know how it works, I like it, it does what I want, I don't plan to change that.

For menu creation I currently use DVD MovieFactory but would like to change that. While putzing around with my new laptop which runs Win7 I discovered Win7 DVDMaker. It has awesome full motion menu templates and I would switch over in a heartbeat *but* it limits by time length rather than file size ie even though the AVI files I was using are only 350mb each it will only let me put 3 45 minute clips on a DVD. If I try to put on a fourth it says it's too long. It also has some minor issues with title editing that I might be willing to overlook but I *need* to be able to put 4 45 minute files to a disc. Does anyone know of a workaround or know of software with similar motion menu creation that doesn't have a huge learning curve? I have a project due at the end of the month and I'd like to include full motion menus like the templates in DVDMaker instead of a static image with four video thumbnails and titles like I currently use.

    Thanks,

    Beth

You might try Nero 10, or Adobe Premier Elements.
