Trying to edit a video, then save it as divx or xvid. Set the the compression to xvid but it's not working, just stays in full mode. Divx does the same. Mod and Meg2 versions did the same, tried several different avi's and mpeg's and the compression settings were not working with those either.
I have windows 7 32 bit

Are you using Video->Full processing?
Tried differrent divx/xvid settings? Use 1-pass. -

And be sure the frame dimensions are integer multiples of 2 (ie, even, not odd). Integer multiples of 4 or 8 are better. And multiples of 16 best.
