  1. ...and I'm trying to normalize the audio as I have a total of 60 clips from 60 different sources so the audio levels are all over the place. I'm using PowerDirector 9 and I pulled all the wavs and followed this guide using Adobe Audition http://www.adobe.com/designcenter/audition/articles/aud15sdnormaliz.html but tbh the clips now sound like garbage. Is there any other way to do this where I wouldn't lose this much quality? Should I run different settings in Audition? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Sound like garbage? From normalization? WHat was the format/bitrate of the original files and what did you save them to?
Provide a sample before and after.

  3. Maybe garbage wasnt the best word, I mean they are certainly listenable, but just not ideal. When I get home Ill upload some samples.
