I am looking for recommendations on an inexpensive HD camcorder to use in video taping drum lessons. I am looking to have two cameras for the shoot (above and on the bass drum).
These are going to be for online viewing. No specific budget, but looking for the least expensive that will do the trick.
Thanks.

Would there be an advantage to use something a little better when it comes to editing and syncing with the audio?

Does it need to be live to net? If so get an HDV cam (e.g. Canon HV20/30/40). They can go live over IEEE-1394 to many upload programs.
Recommends: Kiva.org - Loans that change lives.

No, not live. Just a bunch of 3-4 minute vids. Looking at a 2 camera shoot to have one on the bass drum and the other one from above.
I am a rank beginner so no suggestions are too amateurish. I'll take all the help I can get!
