One box to do it all ?

I want to be able to do the following :
* record HD TV programmes
* play surround sound via a single HDMI connection to an A/V receiver
* archive old recordings onto either optical disk or network attached storage
and be able to replay them without messing around with format conversions

Is there a single box that lets me do the above ?
Looking at the likes of Sky+HD / Humax HDR-Fox T2 etc ....
