    I was wondering if there is any guide on how to put a video inside a picture background like this video on youtube ?

    it's a simple video overlay on a static image

    this is an easy task for any editor (e.g. sony vegas , premiere pro) you just drag your video onto the image, and scale the video

    you can even do it with avisynth using overlay() and imagesource()
