I have an AVI file of Lord of the Rings. I get the above error when trying to encode no matter what template i use. When i tried opening the file up with vitualdub it say's "virtualdub has detected an improper vbr audio encoding in the source avi file"
When i try playing the avi with power dvd or media player it sounds great to me. I want to encode it so i can watch it on vcd. what do i need to change so i can encode it? BTW, I'm not very familiar with virtualdub, so if i need to do something with that will you please explain in layman terms. I'm a greenhorn. I've only been doing this for two weeks.
