    Some years back, some Music CD singles were released in a format called CD-Video, which contained the single plus a video that was playable in a laserdisc player. Anyone know more about this format and if any other player can play the videos?

    I don't know too much about the format but I am fairly certain that
    CD-Video or CDV will only play on laserdisk players.

    seems pioneer dv-525&(k) will play the audio only portion of these discs.
