Wondering if there is a program (free if possible) that will let me put 5 to 7 good quality Divx/Xivd (.avi) files on a DVD with a menu? I have used DVDFlick and DVDStyler which will convert the files to DVD format, but I want to keep them as .avi and not convert.

You can only possibly do that if your player is DivX Ultra certified. If it isn't, your only alternatives are to use the player's built-in file selection menus, or create a DVD-Video disc.

If you do have a DivX Ultra player, you can try experimenting with the methods listed in this post.
