thinking of buying this, just because it has a video editor and iv a coupon off ashampo for 60 per cent off.

My question is , does anybody know if this app' can import FLV video files into the video editor

and does anybody know why Ashampo burning studio 10 hasnt got a 'video editor' i hope its not because they believed it was rubbish in ver' 9

A bit cheeky i know but im going to ask you bright folks another question,

Anybody know of a video editor that imports FLV files which i can edit put chapters and menu, add a audio track and out put to dvd all in one app'(and free would me nice) the video editor i use at the moment does not except Flv files so iv got to convert them first which takes so long, iv also got a Nero video editor which seems to import Flv files put then just freezes

I know converxtodvd excepts flv files bit you cant edit.

I have just downloaded an app' called 'Videopad' but havent tried it yet

    Thanks all

Yes ver. 9 does accept flv. I just tested it. Your wrong about ver. 10. Video editor was never removed. I own ver. 10 since it came out and it does have same video editor as ver. 9 did. I hope this answers your questions.

Thanks for that, i have a bit of a problem, just opened Ashampoo burning studio that i have on my pc and was greated with a message that i needed updates and it gave me the version i have got which is:

    Ashampoo burning studio 2010 9.12 (2010/01/29)

I downloaded the updates, opened the prog' but cant find the video editor what title is it under

    as under:
    Expert features, i have
1 Create a modified copy of an existing cd/dvd/blue ray disc
2 Create a data cd/dvd/blueray disc using advanced settings

    and under
    Create/burn disc image i have
1 burn a cd/dvd/blueray disc from disc image
    2 Create a disc image from cd/dvd
3 Create a disc image from project

And there is nothing in 'Burn Movies' that suggests a 'video editor'

    Thanks again

Under 9 choose burn movies and photos is where the video editor is located. For me it is. I then i choose whatever type of dvd i wanna make from slideshow, video dvd and my own video dvd is the other choice. If your making a video dvd with using the editor. Here is the steps i did to get the editor.

    1. choose type video dvd you want to make
    2.then choose make movie
3.click add choose the video you want to work with. btw to use flv you gotta choose all files for them to be added to move editor.

    I hope these steps help.
