Hi folks,
I have multiple M2TS files, which I would like to burn to a DVD-5 in Ubuntu Maverick Meerkat.
Any ideas on a tool similar to ConvertXtoDVD which I used to use back in the Windows days that could do this?
I have something like 12 x .m2ts files which I would like to each have a chapter on the dvd, and be playable on laptops/pc's/dvd players etc.
Any tips would be great!
Do you see a VIDEO_TS folder with vob, ifo, bup files in the mounted iso drive? You can also open DVD isos directly in VLC.
In ubuntu, I double click the iso and it mounts it to the desktop. I can open the mounted iso and it contains video_ts etc, but in VLC I select File>Open Disc and it cannot see the iso.
perhaps it's not really seeing the mounted ISO as a disc. Is there an "Open DVD from Folder" option? If so choose that..go to your mounted iso, select the VIDEO_TS folder, and hit OK or whetever the button is.
I know media player classic has open from folder..not sure about vlc.
this is one of those linux drawbacks
u might just get a copy of windows, Virtualbox and just create a virtual OS. Install all the software u need in it and go from there
