    Hello
    I ususaly burn my dvd with imgburn but I must do it now with different files in .avi format and .avi is not supported by imgburn

    what is a good alternative to this wonderful software?

    They are supported if you burn in data mode(Write files/folders to disc).

    Or do you want to convert to dvd-video? Then use avstodvd.

    You can burn AVI files as files, not as a DVD Video disc.

    if you want a DVD Video disc, use AVStoDVD as suggested by Baldrick, and let it burn with Imgburn.

  5. You can burn avi's on a dvd as a data disc but the player must be divx compatible otherwise you have to re-encode to a dvd structure using something like avstodvd then burn the folder straight onto a dvd disc using imgburn.
