Cannot connect to internet with my real IP?

Guys I downloaded a program called Proxy Switcher that changes your proxy addresses automatically. Well now the only way I can ever connect to the net is through a proxy. If I enable "no proxy" in firefox or opera and try to just connect with my real IP I cannot connect at all, but as soon as I put in a proxy address I can connect. I am using vista, Acer aspire pc, dsl with a 660 series router.

The proxy switcher software is just and .exe not a program that you install/uninstall. Any idea how I can get back to normal and not have to use a proxy. I scanned with malware bytes to see if maybe I had picked up a virus. Also scanned with HiJack this and it came back with this....

right click on IE, properties, connections, lan settings, uncheck "proxy server" is checked and check automatically detect settings.

try it, if it still doesn't work you might have to go into admin tools, services and stop and restart dhcp. that should do it.

No go on the IE. I did the same for firefox and opera and still not working. Going to try the dhcp starting/stoping.

Yes!!!! I think. Working now since i stopped and restarted DHCP. Now I hope it lasts because awhile ago it was working correctly than stopped. Big thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
