Does it have to be two players ? Can't you split the video from one player to both projectors. Far easier.

  4. I am in a serious panic for affordable suggestions as to
how best synchronize DVD players for a multi-channel video installation. I cannot afford to buy industrial dvd players...I have to install this weekend at a gallery and I have just been able to gather all components to view piece as a whole...and I am realizing it is not staying in sync! Unfortunately the piece is completely dependent on that factor it really needs to stay in sync by 1 frame if possible. Help?
One idea is to loop the sequence in fcp for about 1 hour- whatever will fit on a dvd so there will be less stop and start with the disk in the dvd player & maybe that will lessen the possibility of falling out of sync!?

You need professional level kit that is all synced to the same time base. With consumer kit there is no way you can get down to single frame accuracy. You want to do this properly, you have to spend the $$$s
