Ok.
If I go and buy a domain name how do I go about getting it on the net?

Can I use someone like http://www.gizba.com who offer 500meg of free web space and use my own domain name or do I have to then go about paying silly money to someone to host the site for me.I don't really want to do this coz they are hammered with popups...

Or can i use my own NTLWorld webspace (only 10 meg but it's enough for now).
If I can use NTLWorld space then does anyone have a clue how to get it on there...Call me thick if you want to!!!

(I have found a very cheap place to get domain names from,prices from a penny a month!)
