I recently purchased a PyroAVlink with Adobe Premier Elements 4. I have about 14 gb available on my hard drive. The avi files and adobe project stored on a My Passport portable. I converted a vhs to avi using Windows tool. Then created a video project Using Adobe. I need to decide whether or not to keep this and have a few questions.
Thanks so much
- When I installed the templates it took a huge amount of disk space and time both to install and to load the program so I uninstalled the templates and have been quite successful. I just want to convert the old media and make some basic dvds but would like to be able to use a template or 2. Is there a way to access some templates without installing the entire package?
- What is the best format to save the data so that I will be able to edit it in the future with a different program?
- I read of so many problems people had using Adobe to create a video that I first saved the project to a 1.2gb mpg file and tried to create a dvd using Windows DVD Maker. It created the dvd but does not play on my laptop, my desktop nor the tv. So I used Adobe to create a dvd and was surprised to see that it succeeded. Do you have any idea why Windows DVD maker didn't create the dvd successfully?
