Hi there, uploaded this video recently to blip.tv: http://blip.tv/file/4825719
Normally I use compressor to make an MPG4 to go up online. However, this video has more detailed graphics and a lot of quick movement as you can see. I uploaded as an MPG2 and tried to remove the interlaced effect. Two questions:
1. Any recommendations on how to remove the interlaced effect when there is quick movement?
2. Does uploading a bigger file effect everyone's playback? If you upload a 150mb file as opposed to a 700mb file. On a website like blip.tv, is the load time greater for the viewer?

blip has the option to play the original file (no quality loss)
mpeg2 isn't compatible with flash, so it has to be re-encoded (quality loss) .
It might use the quicktime viewer if the end user has quicktime and the mpg2 plugin installed (this will be tiny percentage of viewers), otherwise it won't play the original format
