Here's a summary of what I see in the hex editor when I look at it:
Header
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
corrupt frame
lots of bytes of 00 data
I SHOULD see:
Header
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
good frame
Footer.
The fix I need is software that will delete all the bad data at the end for the corrupted file, then calculate the data for the footer, and append the footer to the end of the now slightly truncated (but no longer corrupted) MOV file. This process should fix the file and at least make it playable. Currently VLC and Quicktime players are refusing to play the corrupted file.
Where can I get software like this? Or at least where can I find someone with the programming skills to make me such a piece of software?
