I am making time lapse movies using my digital still camera and MEncoder to create videos. I have no strong preference for which output format I use, but I do want the movies to have minimal visible artifacts (because the subject matter is line drawings, and the artifacts are very distracting). Can someone help me configure MEncoder to produce reasonably high quality video output (I realize that perfect output would result in unrealistically huge files).
