HI,
I have an ADS Pyro FireWire Card and I am capturing my DV AVI via the DirectShow codec, creating a type 1 AVI. I spoke to the boys over at ADS and they claim that if I capture a Type 1 AVI and view the AVI at full screen on my PC I should see NO signs of pixelization at all, no blockiness what so ever. When capturing AVI via VFW codecs like MainConcept's codec, they say you should expect some pixelization. Well, my type 1 AVIs have a small degree of pixelization viewed at full screen, but the type 2 AVIs using MainConcept's codec were much worse. Just wondering if the type 1 AVIs you all are capturing have some small degree of pixelization at full screen viewing or is it my setup.
Regards,
BT
