Has anyone heard of Driver Boost ? It is suppose to help keep your drivers updated. Here is the link to the site

Problem is these days is just because there's an updated driver / package, one should be cautious ... backup those about to be updated so they can be returned if the updated drivers have issues.

I have seen these kind of things come and go for years; allowing some software from (??) to scan your system and decide what is the proper driver can leave you with a system that won't boot. It is always best to go directly to your peripheral's web page, find the proper drivers and install them yourself. Then you know for sure those are the right ones.

I do not update drivers just for the sake of it.
I would certainly not trust a 'one-click' program/web site to be more disconcerting than my own eyes.
These exist for people who simply do not know what is inside their PC so they trust the unknown to update the unknown. -
