Hi There
I've been using SUPER converter for a while and find it's working OK. I use the multimedia analysis box to help with setting the parameters for encoding. As I'm relatively new to video conversion I have a question about Stream size.
I'll use an example. If I double click on my video file (an MP4 DIVX converted from DVD) in SUPER, to get the analysis box, it shows:
Stream size :617 MiB (88%)
Does this mean that my MP4 is 88% of the original size, compressed 12%? or does it mean that it is 12% of the original size, compressed 88%?
Maybe a dumb question but I just don't know.
Thankful for any input

Neither.
Look at the Stream size of the audio. I wager that is 12%. 88% + 12% = 100%. So the video is 88% of the total file size. Nothing else.
