Hardcode Subs in DVD Rebuilder??....Or something that will work???

Hello,
I have been trying to rip a DVD with hard coded subs FOREVER. I have Googled for weeks and nothing works. It is a Japanese DVD with English subtitles. I want the final product to have the English Subtitles so I can play it on my iPod. Can DVD Rebuilder Pro hard code subs on the Mobile Output mode? I looked and I could not figure it out. Unfortunately, the DVD I am trying to rip is not common and the subs are not readily available online (.srt files). I am just a band director trying to rip a DVD on teaching music. Can anyone please help me out? I would REALLY appreciate it! Thanks for listening
