I saw this program that siad it would make the divx video file smaller without loosing quality so i go it. Now it says I have to make the file to two different bit rates. Now I could do this with virtual dub but it won't open divx 4, i guess its too new. Does anyone know how to do this? By the way the compression program is called compressavi.

I dont know compressavi, but normally u use a low and fast motion codec and mix them. DivX4 has no fast and low motion codecs, it is only one codec.
Try Nundub. Nundub combines the fast and low motion codec of DivX 3.11 to get the best results.
By the way DivX4 has a 2-pass VBR.And thats mainly what you search.
