clicking on links in msn

sorry to make another post so soon but this has been annoying me for awhile
when i click on links... i think mostly from msn, it is opened in WORD instead of IE
tried looking for a way to change this in msn or in IE but cannot find a way
for example today someone sent a link of a property they are buying, i click on it and it is opened in word and never opens properly and crashes WORD
any ideas?

try making sure your default browser is set
menu>tools>internet options>programs>default browser
click apply

opening any new web page is always ie/google
its only when i click on a link via msn to a webpage that is goes to Word

Right click the link and check properties ... check the web pages extension ... you may have it associated with the wrong program

right clicking doesnt do anything, just brings up a copyall fuction
