Here is the log. Any hints? I notice that when I try to play or preview the source, it's spotty and gray. Source plays fine in VLC, MPEG Streamclip, and Quicktime. It was encoded using the "Normal" setting of Handbrake.

I'm not sure why ffmpeg doesn't like the H.264 video stream. It may have to do with the age of this version of ffmpeg in ffmpegX, as ffmpeg has seen a few revisions since, with improvements in handling of H.264 video.

    Alternatives:
    - ffmpeg command line (build your own (e.g. through MacPorts) or 'borrow' a compiled version from some recent app that has ffmpeg in its package)
    - Convert a copy to .mp4 (lower specs) with Handbrake/QuickTime/MPEG Streamclip/whatever, as H.264/AAC .mp4 is compatible with web Flash players, too. [Recommended]
