Hi this is an annoying problem..I have put a lot of my DVDs onto an external hard disc by ripping them and then converting them to divx and mp3 as my TV has a usb connection and supports the said file types. I convert using imtoo convertor ultimate. When converted they are saved to my ext hdd I plug it into the TV and it will play no proble, however After about 20 Mins it stops and goes back to the start. If I goto where it stops and play it it will play the rest of the movie. It does it with them all. I have tried ntfs and fat32 file systems ans the same thing. The convertor is fully licensed and the ripper being xillusoft dvd ripper is too

I would be greatful of some help...thanks

They tend to be around 4GB to 7GB but why would that make a difference, is it because I am converting from dvd to hd if I convert to standard divx the file size is around 1.5GB?

Does the 1.5gb files play fine?

And I wouldn't convert to any hd resolution, 720x540(4:3) or 720/406(16:9) is enough.

Its a perfect picture and audio which is in sync at 24fps but it just halts then stops and that was at 1240x720 in hd divx.... With one I recopied and the glitch wasn't at the same point so its a puzzle to me also its not on a loop or split files....

Well your advice was great file size around 1.5GB and played right through, audio is spot on but I do get a bit of pixilation at times not sure what I can do with that and keep a low file size?
