I'm trying to install Zwei-Stein 3.01 video editor on a machine running Windows XP Pro SP2. When the installation attempts to install tassdll.dll I get the error message "An error occurred while trying to copy a file: The source file is corrupted."

It offers 3 options: "Abort", which does what it says; "Retry", which gives the same error; "Ignore", which continues the installation, but the program will not run due to the lack of tassdll.dll.

I have downloaded the set-up file from several different locations; they are all identical and give the same error.

As far as I can tell from searches, I am the only person on the planet to have this problem! Any ideas anyone?

    Steve.

Thanks, aedipuss. I knew it was fairly old, but I didn't know it was that old! There seem to be a lot of sites offering download of 3.01.

Have downloaded zs4 and tried installation. Slightly different error message this time, and different dll (tabdec.dll)! Will try to investigate further tomorrow.

    Steve.

Update 2nd Feb: That was version .958. I've now tried version .956 and it installs and runs. Now to see if it is any good! Steve.
