    Adobe premiere pro cs5
    macbook 4gb ram 500gb HDD

    When importing 720p 29.97fps footage into 720p30 project i get green bars over the preview footage like in the image above.
    The only way I can get it to stop doing this, is by opening a 1080p project and importing it there. Obviously that'll raise issues in itself...
    My best friend isn't having this problem in CS4 with the same footage.

    Any ideas?

    Why not try changing the 720p30 project to 720p29.97 ?
