Hi im trying to hardcode subs into my xvids and having problems. Whats happening is i rip my dvd and the movie will have force subs witch i obviously want. So i rip the subs with vobsub, once i have them i open them up in subresync and just save the force subs as an srt file and there perfect. Then i load them in subtitle workshop, select 29.97fps for the input witch is what the source is(NTSC dvd). And select 23.976fps for what my final video will be and save the subs. then in megui i add the subs to my avs script and encode my movie.. Problem is when i go to play my movie the subs are way off.. they dont line up at all. Ive tried not editing them in worshop and all sorts of other things but they never line up..not even close..any help would be greatly appericiated.

  2. I believe you can use BDSup2Sub to save only forced subtitles as idx/sub. Then just use VobSub function in avs script to burn them in. No resyncing or OCR. Just use as is.

That implies that you think the length of the movie changes when going from interlaced 29.97fps to progressive 23.976. It doesn't. Select the same output framerate as the intput framerate - 29.97/29.97 or 23.976/23.976.

I figured it out..Was my own dumbass fault.. It was my first time using Subresync and i didnt notice that when you go to open your subtitles at the bottom you need the select the FPS. It was always set to 25FPS and my dvds are 29.97..Working good now thanks!!
