  2. Dvd-it will only accept MPG files with MPG Layer 2 Audio in them. Ironically m2v files is what DVDit actually creates from your MPG file but not the other way round.

Spruceup accepts m2v files as source material, but you'll need the audio file to go with it.

  3. the guide on this website said to load the .m2v file and audio file into dvdit! in order to create the vob's and burn a dvd. Surely there's a way to do this. I might give up and try spruceup anyway cause dvdit seems to lock up sometimes.

For DVD-it to find a suitable decoder you have to do the following :-

    Rename your m2v to mpv.

Start to play your mpeg file in windows media player, then pause it DO NOT STOP VIDEO

Then minimize media player and open dvdit, import file in media section, then "voila" your mpeg will load in DVDit

Let me know if this sorts your problem.

  9. i got my video to load into MyDVD. I don't really like that program, but at least it loaded it. When i preview it everything looks good except the audio is quite a bit behind the video. any ideas how to fix that?

But in reality when its burnt to a disk everythings ok.

use a dvd-rw first to test it
