    Installed the newer (2008) version. Deleted the old (2006) ffmpegX. Start up and ffmpegX asks me to find the Progress.app. Doesn't appear to be around anymore.

    Well, before anyone else says it. Search the forum; Look at the bottom of the page you're beginning your post on.

    I tried the top one by empershand: When you're asked to locate the progress.app, simply find and select the FFmpegX.app in your applications folder. That seemed to solve the problem for me.

    It worked. And, a quit and restart it did not have to ask again. Thanks for a well connected board. Sorry about the post.
