    I recently started to use ffmpegX and I like many of its features. However, the binaries are 2 years old and since then, there has been many updates to its components (ffmpeg to name one). Are there any plans to update the binaries to more recent versions any time soon?

    I think we all would like to see an updated version. The developer apparently has expressed the hope to return to the project some day. I wish it was that day and I wish I knew how to persuade him.
