    is there a way to convert RM files to ASF files.. plese help.

  2. I'm not sure if there's a direct way to go from rm to asf, but there is a round-a-bout way. You can go from RM to AVI with TINRA (conversion tutorial is on here) and then from AVI to ASF with Sonic Foundry Stream Anywhere (also a tutorial on here).

    It's not worth for time/

    Those are two highly destructive codecs. I guess you are planning to decode the rm file to avi.


    Why r u wasting your time. Your file will be horribly blockly.

  4. Just to add to the above...Greg12 is right. RM files and ASF files suck for the most part when it comes to video quality.
