hi !
i have a little problem in adobe premiere.
i have 2 videos-clip on the same track (just a fresh and new project)
i just want to add a basic transition (cross disolve by example).
so, i just have to drag''ndrop the transition to the cut (where video1 meet video2)
but...(here the strange big problem), once i drag (left mouse click) on the transistion THEN the cursor is a 'not allowed' icone !
i don't understand why !!!? why premiere do not let me begin the drag??? what's the matter with me or it ?
i turn my head in every way, i can't discover the reason.
shall you help me ?

Is the track locked? Are there diagonal lines going thru the track? If so, click on the little lock symbol on the track to unlock the track.

This is the second post I've seen where a Premiere user can't fathom a simple operation.

What version of Premiere? Is this a full, legal version? What format is the video? Have you ever had this problem before with other clips?
