Gday,
I have a bunch of old VHS tapes I have been meaning to transfer to DVD for several years... I started with a Panasonic DMR-ES10 and That worked well (now in storage) and I progressed to HDD models.. I connect the VCR to the DVD Recorders composite in and have the DVD Recorder connected to the TV by HDMI, that works and can see / record the program to the DVD-Recorders hard drive but the picture displayed is like a postage stamp and I need to change the TV's Ratio to 14:9 to get full height of the screen with video.. The programs are only 4:3 and I know I will get Black bars at the sides - that is ok but what do I do about the Ratio??
Hope that made sense..
James.
