I have followed all what I had to do in the conversion guide of avi to mpeg vcd, when burned to cd and played on a dvd player it works, but usually the sides of the picture are cut off.
I have experienced this problem with two of these avi files:
320x240 @ 14.990 fps
512x384 @ 23.976 fps
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

I'm not quite sure if this answers you question or not, but here it goes...
Any T.V has a 5-10% overscanning feature, which means you won't see some of the picture around the edges. If you mean that there is a black line replacing where the picture should be, then that has to do with the aspect ratio of the origonal source. A 320x240 video would have to be stretched to 352x240, but if you have the video arrange method set to Center "keep aspect ratio" (located in the settings and then advanced tab in TMPEnc) it will do that. So, you will need to set it to full screen. It was easy as that. Hope thats not too confusing.I will not eat oysters. I want my food dead - not sick, not wounded - dead.- Woody Allen
