Hello. I usually use RealPlayer to download flash videos from websites, like YouTube or whatever. However, I'm at a loss for what to do, as I am trying to download videos from MTV.com and can't figure out how. I want to download the videos at the URL below, but whenever I try to do so using RealPlayer, it just downloads the advertisements before the videos, and not the actual videos themselves. If anyone knows a setting I can change or different program I could use, I would be very appreciative. Thank you!

Hi, thanks for the tip! I can't play the videos in StreamTransport's browser. It plays the advertisements and downloads them as well. When it gets to the actual videos, it just says "connecting..." and never plays. Any suggestions?

Edit: Eventually the URL for the video does show up, but when I try to download, only the elapsed time changes. The percent, time remaining, and speed all stay at 0.

Why do I get the feeling another first-time-poster will show up here soon with a link to payware claiming it will work?

Sorry to disappoint you, hech, but I'm just looking for a little help. I tried the suggested program and I can't seem to get it to work. I don't know if it's because I'm doing something wrong or it's just not capable of downloading these videos. If you have any useful tips, they would be appreciated.

Please don't cross post. I can move your thread instead.

Maybe try BitRecorder and GetFLV. But I suspect they wont work either.

Sorry about the cross post. GetFLV did work! Thank you so much, man. You're a Legend!
