I've been searching around, a lot, and cannot find much RECENT information about bitsetting DVD+Rs.
Basically, I would like to know:
Which is universally more compatible, DVD+Rs that have been bitset to DVD-ROM, or DVD-Rs just the way they are?
Thanks in advance,
Dave

The reason you haven't found much RECENT information on the subject is because it is no longer really relevant.
+R? -R? Six of one, half a dozen of the other. -
if u have a dvd player more than 5 or 6 yrs old theres a good chance that bitsetting would help but anything after that it's not that important anymore. Back in the day when this burnable dvd media thing started...most dvd player companies didn't have the +r implemented in the hardware chips so when u popped one in...un-bitsetted...it wouldn't play. All dvd players nowadays can play em so you shouldnt have an issues with pickin one or the other. Just make sure you pick quality media on either side.
