After many attempts of trying to make the perfect looking VCD, it doesnt't seem to work. Everything is fine after Smartripper and DVD2AVI, but in TMPGENC, after many adjustments in its settings, I can seem to get good quality. For the experts, what settings do you use in TMPEGENC to get the quality at its best?

if u want quality...and don't mind the # of discs...then switch to SVCD and choose a higher bitrate...around 2000

What about interlacing and all the many settings in the advance tab of TMPGEnc. 2000 with VBR or constant or what. What about the aspect ratios and fps settings?
