  1. Hi I read the tutorial on this site on how to make a VCD using nero but it does not explain the details very well. I have a movie that is 625mb and when i try to make a VCD out of it, using NERO it becomes way more than 625 mb. What do I need to do so I can burn it and make it into a VCD? Do I need too compress it or something or split the movie in to VCD? Thanks

  2. It probably means that your file has a lower bit rate than normal VCD, all nero is doing is raising the bitrate to VCD standard, making it VCD compatable, thus increasing its size. To keep is original size you would would have to make a non standard VCD. If you want to make a standard VCD it sounds like you will have to cut it.

  3. So cutting it would mean make that 625mb file into to files so I can fit it on two cd making the total ammount of storage would be 1300mb? If so how would I do this? what programs would I need. Even better if you can direct me to a link where I can read on some tutorials Thanks.

  4. The way i would do it is to use Tmpgenc to convert your original file into VCD format, I would then cut the resulting file (using Tmpgenc) into parts that would fit on a CD. Nero should have no problem accepting these files.

You'll find an editing guide over there <<<----

    Get Tmpgenc from http://www.tmpgenc.com (its's free )
