    In any software player this video file run with black stripes in full screen.

    Yeah, so? It came from a 1920x1080 or possibly 1280x720 Hi-Def source and someone cropped away the black bars before reencoding it. Black bars are added back by the player. They won't be a part of the video.

  3. Its aspect ratio is 2.35:1, not 1.78:1. So it should have black letterbox bars on a 1.78:1 (16:9) display. Most widescreen movies are shot 2.35:1. Only TV shows are shot 1.78:1.
