I am looking to purchase a program that will allow me to convert various formats to blu-ray. I would like to have something that will do the encoding and then allow me to make some custom menus or menus based from templates. I would like to keep the cost below $150. Desired but not required would be the ability to read mkv files and support for DTS audio. I am currently looking at either Pinnacle Studio Ultimate or the TMPGENC Authoring works 4. Would either or both of these meet my needs and if so, is there one to be preferred over the other?

They doesn't support dts and would probably have huge problems with mkv. I would use free software for mkv sources like multiavchd, avchdcoder but they have limited menu support then.
For most other sources would I try the trial for TMPGenc AUthoring Works. Pretty good menu template suppport.
