  1. what im trying to do is capture video from a minidv camcorder, and burn in on a DVD. i got avs2dvd for the converting and burning part, and it works. however, i need a program to replace movie maker where i can do basic editing, including cutting clips and adding them together. i capture video using the windows capture feature, which captures the video to DV-AVI, and basically need a simple editor to cut and paste the parts onto the file from other dv-avi files.
